Gary Morse has been involved with many facets of real estate for the past 21 years. He owned his own Brokerage (HomeLife Valley Realty) for 14 years before he and his partner sold the business in 2008. He continues to be an active REALTOR® and Managing Associate Broker with Royal LePage Atlantic. Gary also owns Morse Construction which specializes in custom home design and construction as well as renovations. Morse Construction also owns Coldbrook Self Storage and offers a HouseCheck service and carries out property management for select clients. In addition, Gary is President of Mornard Properties which has held numerous residential and commercial properties over the past 15 years, including a 6,900 sf office building on Commercial Street in New Minas.
Gary is a Past President (2011/12) of the Canadian Real Estate Association and Chaired the Futures Implementation Team (FIT), a group which led a change management process within organized real estate in Canada. Gary was asked by two consecutive Presidents of the National Association of REALTORS® (USA) to serve as an international member on their Board of Directors. He is currently a Director of the Nova Scotia Real Estate Commission.
He is a Past President of the Annapolis Valley Real Estate Board and the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS®. Gary also enjoys being involved in the local community. He’s a member of the Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce (Past President of EKCC) and the New Minas Rotary Club (current Past President). Prior to his career in real estate Gary spent four years in accounting with a CA firm and a number of years in municipal government finance and administration.
